my favorite tv show i've never seen

Squawk Box, and all its varied locations. I don't want to know what actually happens on that show...knowing that it airs on CNBC means it could never meet my expectations. Which I assure you, are great, and involve a remote radio tramsitting station, a bird operating that station, a rainstorm of feathers, and oh yes, squawking.

Truly, the Squawk Box has been the highlight of my late-night channel guide perusing for going on ten years now. Bravo, Squawk-crew.

I'm actually in the office this week, packing things up. Hopefully everything will have to be unpacked shortly after our monster premiere June 4th!

I know y'all want to get down like this:

"Eye did confirm another bit of scheduling, saying that "Creature Comforts" -- the long-in-the-works project from Aardman Animations -- will premiere June 4 at 8 p.m.

"Creature Comforts" -- which combines stop-motion animated animals with audio from interviews with average Americans -- inherits the timeslot normally occupied by "How I Met Your Mother." No word on where that skein will air over the summer."

for real, y'all

Is it possible to watch an episode of Friday Night Lights without tearing up at the very least and, more often than not, full on crying? How did they make football so girly and sensitive? And why aren't more of you watching? Ladies, let me tell you...there are hot fellas on this show. And guys! Guys! You know that thing at the end of Field of Dreams, where Kevin Costner and his dad "have a catch" and you get all choked up? That's what this show is like! It's for you! It's for all of us! Bring it back for another season, NBC!

And while I am entreating networks to do things like support quality programming, dear God CBS, put Creature Comforts on the air. I miss work, and the money associated with it.
