Perhaps not surprising, as it seems these things happen all the time these days, but a bunch of clips from the show have made their way to youtube (this time without our assistance). Because I love them so, I'm posting them all here in the hopes that they'll earn your love as well. They're out of context (in the series, these segments are grouped into 5-10 minute themes) and unsweetened, but they're still a blast. Remember, everything is real audio, culled from interviews with people across America. Crazy, ridiculous, lovable people.
It seems it would be the other way around, but with women there are so many options. With guys I feel as though there are a few milestone "significant other" purchases (the watch, the jacket, the work bag...done them all), electronics, or sports stuff. But of course you really don't have the money for the good electronics or sports stuff. And let's be honest, you're a sappy girl, so you'd rather get your fella something that has meaning anyways. Which leaves you...where exactly?
In my experience, a week away from Christmas with precious few gift ideas for your husband. But maybe that's just me.
Ah. The fall of Mel(issa)rose.
While this picture of Melrose skulking away in defeat tickles me pink, the best moment of last night had to have been her attempt to fake her way into Eugena and CariDee's genuine goodbye moment. Don't let those judges doubt your personality, Melrose! Squat down and hug those models, awkardness be damned! Should anyone stumble across a screencap of this gem, please, pass it on. I need a new wallpaper.
- Please, America. I am going to have to ask that you encourage her no further until she has won back our trust by "singing" and dancing at an awards show with a python and/or tear away pants.
