lesbian theft!
Alexandra Hedison is suing ex Ellen DeGeneres for palimony, and Portia De Rossi for lesbian theft. Apparently, under some kind of ancient wack-job law, Hedison can say that DeRossi is responsible for "alienation of affection", or in other words, criminal seduction. Though the charge would be very difficult to prove, I'm a little concerned that it's a charge to begin with. Listen, Alexandra, I feel your pain. Your lady up and left you for a young waif and you're hurting. But let's not get carried away. Turn your hurt into success! Now that you dug up this legal loophole, use your expertise to develop a soft-core Law and Order spinoff for cable: Evil Seductress Unit.

So, wait, according to this law, you can sue someone if they dump you? OH MY GOD, I would have been SO RICH in high school.
JD- where's my legal consultation on this?

Were these girls stolen from you, or did they leave of their own volition?
And congrats, by the way, you just left the 600th comment. Wooo! Bells and whistles and other such joy for you!

Yes, there is actually such a cause of action, but as the guy in the piece says, it's pretty rare. I think Ellen should countersue with a cause of action for "Really Not Being That Hot Anymore."
