Spent this evening meandering around the fabulous Westside Pavilion, or WestPav for those of us with absolutely no time to fully pronounce multi-syllabic words. I was on a mission to procure the latest, and sadly the last, season of the comedy exhuberance Strangers With Candy. Politically incorrect and probably anatomically incorrect, this show is hands down (your pants) one of the funniest that Comedy Central has ever squirted onto the airwaves.

After buying the DVD, I decided to head toward Barnes and Nobles for some book browsing and possibly some writing. Unfortunately, there were no available tables. Is it me or does it seem that tables and comfy chairs are becoming more and more scarce at B&N? Maybe they are trying to stop the "less fortunates" from hanging around and smelling up the place. Or maybe they hope more people will buy books and magazines if they have no place to sit and read them. Reading sans buying could be categorized as stealing, I suppose. What if they had a machine that could scan your brain when you walk in and then scan it as you leave and then any information that was "stolen" could be immediately zapped from your head before you got out the door? Wouldn't that FREAK YOU THE FUCK OUT!?!? I've already started building it.

I was completely bombarded by the waify image of Paris "Mrs. BoGangles" Hilton everywhere I looked today. Her giant Hilton-head bobbled and wobbled at me from every angle. Magazines, billboards, and shopping bags. (I guess there really is such a thing as a Ho-Bag.) I have the urge to projectile vomit everytime I see her. I don't think she is attractive at all. I think she looks like an anorexic wee-todd.
Well, I'm gonna go pop in my fresh new DVD and have myself an evening of hilarity...alone. (Cue spotlight and sad piano music.)
