listless listing
Page 3 lists the greatest sports moments in film. Some good stuff, but I feel like they might have been trying too hard to stray from the classics. No Field of Dreams until the honorable mention? No "Who's the wild man now?" or "I don't want your life?" Not even a little "You're killing me Smalls?" And let's be honest: "Searching for Bobby Fisher" is not a sports movie. Unless you've got Spartan Spirit.

"You're killing me Smalls."
best quote ever.

seriously, this is a stupid question, but is the van in 'field of dreams' a time machine? not joking.

maybe. i've never really given much thought to exactly how time changes in that movie. generally, everything i know about time travel i learned from back to the future, so i don't think the van could be the device, unless it was running on stolen libyan plutonium.
also, more logically, when they're looking for moonlight graham, they're out of the van; the van took them to that old librarian, and only when wandering around out of the van did they find him. although, i guess old-timey-moonlight-frank-whaley jumps in the van later. hmm...
