fresh on the frog to the maxx.

ESPN's page three calls out bandwagon Laker fans. Sure, the bandwagonning happens everywhere, but here the fair weather ignoramuses are celebrities, so it's newsworthy.
hello, i'm dan scott, i'm here to stand behind you menacingly, berate you, and eat your first born

Enough beating around the (sophia) bush though, let's talk Tree Hill. A few observations on last night's episode, "The Leaving Song."

1. It seems that as good as the Gilmore Girls gets this year, One Tree Hill gets inversely worse (and thus, better). A Gilmore Girls episode will fly by in minutes. On the other hand, I feel as though I have been watching Tree Hill my entire life, in just an endless barrage of foolish chatter and inaction. An episode of One Tree Hill really requires endurance and stamina; It sounds excruciating, but it's actually quite rewarding.

2. There are no doors, no doorbells, no parents in Tree Hill to stop people from just going straight to someone's room and standing in their doorway, creepily silent, waiting to be noticed. This rule holds especially true for Dan Scott, who is able to skulk about unnoticed despite his incredible evilness, and height.

3. Looks-wise, wouldn't it make more sense for James Lafferty to be the illegitimate son of Dan and Karen, and Chad Mike the son of Dan and Deb?

4. Uh-oh. WB villainess Emmanuelle Vaugier is planning to sue Jake for custody of baby Jenny. What to do, what to do. I know! Leave the state! Surely she can't take legal action then! They don't even have courts where your cousin lives!

5. Luke going to Savannah with Keith? Keith and Deb getting it on? Peyton getting her comeuppance? Dan Scott fulfilling his evil destiny of coaching both sons into a pulp? Some say best season finale since the O.C. (which, while yet to happen, promises to be great.)

Finally thanks are due to the very sweet Jess for the psa on her excellent site. I appreciate the compliment, but have no doubt she will retract it after seeing this WB post run rampant.

Comments

but isn't it nice to have your own site for these masturbatory WB posts?

Hey, it's a website, there's people here now, nothing masturbatory about it!
